About REAP

REAPsystems Ltd. consists of a small, specialist team, that has been working in the field of battery management electronics since 2003. Our main expertise is in battery systems with large lithium-ion cells. We have several years of valuable experience with this battery technology in a range of applications: boats, underwater vehicles, stationary energy storage, military vehicles, racing and other electric and hybrid cars.

REAPsystems' founder, Dr. Dennis Doerffel was conducting research at the University of Southampton, when his publication of test results with low-cost, large Li-Ion cells, created industry interest. REAPsystems Ltd. was founded in order to be able to respond to the enquiries and the development of our first BMS was initiated. The company is based upon an excellent knowledge and understanding of Li-Ion batteries and continued development of new products.

Our worldwide customer base includes cell manufacturers, vehicle manufacturers, R&D institutions and other innovative companies. Our technical support team will enable you to produce prototypes within very short timescales using our versatile and parameterisable Battery Management Products. Based on your requirements we offer customised solutions for your series production. We design a custom BMS for you and also offer consultancy, complete battery prototypes and vehicle integration solutions.
